As relatives and friends continue to search for a Bedminster man who has been missing since June, they are now offering a $2,000 reward for information that leads to his finding, according to Bedminster Police Lt. Craig Meyer.

Roger Temple, 44, was last heard from via text on June 19, said Meyer, who added that the timeline of Temple's last communications has been slightly changed.

Meyer said Temple was last seen at his home on June 19, and he was reported missing by family and friends, Meyer said.

Those same friends and family on Tuesday morning announced a $2,000 reward for information leading to Temple's return, Meyer said.

Meyer added that hiking clubs, police in state parks and Crime Stoppers of Somerset County have been asked to assist in the search.

Temple's friends also have set up a Facebook page seeking information on Temple, and offering him assurances he is "loved and missed."

The Facebook page says that LostNMissing Inc, a nonprofit organization working with Temple's family, was making an announcement approved by Nick Temple, Roger Temple's brother: "The family of Roger Temple is now offering a $2000.00 reward for viable information leading to the safe return of Roger. Please help share his new missing poster."

The page notes that anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers of Somerset County, by calling 1-888-577-TIPS. (888-577-8477) Those with a tip may also use the oranization's online form at: http://www.888577tips.org/tips.aspx

Temple is 5 foot, 8 inch white man, weighing 175 pounds. Authorities said he has hazel eyes, partially gray hair and a small mole on the left side of his nose. He has an English accent.
