Bedminster Resident Tips Off Police to Alleged Car Burglars
Three New York men arrested early Tuesday morning after they were seen pulling on car door handles and found with items taken from vehicles, police said.
Bedminster Police arrested three Brooklyn men on Tuesday for allegedly stealing items out of a number of vehicles throughout the township early that morning.
A resident called police at 3:30 a.m. to report that the men, all in their early 20s, were walking down Wren Lane and pulling on vehicle door handles and looking through the vehicles, NJ.com reported.
The men drove away in their car, which police later pulled over and discovered a number of items reported stolen from other vehicles, including a Coach purse, iPod and wireless headset.
