Somerset Hills Schools, Bedminster School Closed Wednesday

With the National Weather Service predicting more snow through much of the night, the Somerset Hills School district in Bernardsville and Bedminster Township Public School already were closed for Wednesday, the websites for those school districts said on Tuesday night.

Both school districts had closed early on Tuesday afternoon, as the snowstorm was gaining strength.

Nearby Bernards Township Schools will be on a two-hour delayed opening schedule for Wednesday morning, according to notice from the Board of Education and on the school district website.

However, parents are advised that road conditions will be re-evaluated on Wednesday morning, and parents will be notified if the school district closes, the Bernards Township school website says.
