School Security to Be Reviewed in Bedminster

District will also look for any effects of the CT tragedy on students and staff.

Bedminster Township School Superintendent Carolyn Koos released a statement about Friday's tragedy in Sandy Hook Elementary School, saying that the administration will be reviewing its security procedures in the coming days.

My heart is heavy with shock, sadness and outrage by the horrific tragedy that occurred in Newtown, Ct. At Bedminster, we have always taken every precaution for the safety of our children but in the days ahead, we will review again all of our safety and security procedures. We will be alert for any effects this unspeakable event has had on our students and staff. We will have counseling available to address the emotional need of the children and staff. 

Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to all the families, students, friends and community in Newtown. May God be with you in these dark days of grief and bring Your light to their lives.
