Bedminster Police Still Looking for Missing Resident on Friday

Roger Temple, 44, may be endangered, police say.

The Bedminster Township Police Department was still looking on Friday for Roger Temple, 44, of Wendover Court in Bedminster Township, who was last seen on June 19. Authorities had issued an alert on Thursday asking for the public's assistance in finding the missing man.

Temple was last seen at his residence and was last heard from via text message last Sunday, June 23, police said. Temple may be wearing a backpack and he is known to frequent the Somerville area, according to a release issued by the Somerset County prosecutor's office.

Temple was described by police as a 5 foot, 8 inch white male, weighing 175 pounds. He has hazel eyes, partially gray hair and a small mole on the left side of his nose, according to a description from the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office.

Anyone who has seen or has information on the whereabouts of Temple is asked to contact Lt. Craig Meyers of the Bedminster Township Police Department at 908-234-0585.

Meyers said on Thursday that Temple is not being sought as part of a criminal investigation, and police are trying to locate him as a missing and possibly endangered person.

Temple is listed on his Linked in account as a research investigator at sanofi-aventis.
