Beginning Thursday, May 1, Police Lt. Craig Meyer will take over as Bedminster's new chief of police - replacing former Chief W. Patrick Ussery who has recently retired, according to newjerseyhills.com.
Lt. Meyer has been with the Bedminster police force since 1995 and has been second in command for the past three years. The appointment was made at Monday night's Township Committee meeting, according to newjerseyhills.com.
