Peapack Chateau to Host ‘Mansion in May’ for Charity

62,000-square-foot, century-old building to open doors May 1 for tours.

It took six years to build and has stood for more than a century, playing getaway home to a wealthy New York City financier and commodore of the New York Yacht Club.

Now, for the first time in years, the doors to ‘Blairsden,’ a Louis XIV chateau-style mansion in Peapack-Gladstone will open its doors for the annual Mansion in May event to benefit two causes.

All proceeds from the month-long event will benefit an expanded pediatric intensive care unit and new autism center at the Goryeb Children’s Hospital at Morristown Medical Center. The event is hosted by the Women’s Association of Morristown Medical Center.
