Bedwell Kindergarten Registration All This Week

And meetings are scheduled throughout Bernardsville and Bedminster.

It's Monday, the start of another work-week, the end of the weekend, and that can only mean one thing—it's time to look ahead to the week at hand.

It's going to be busy in Bernardsville and Bedminster, and we've got your list of things to look out for, from meetings to school activities and everything in between.

School budgets are continuing to be a topic of discussion, and state aid numbers are scheduled to be released Thursday following Gov. Chris Christie's State of the State address Tuesday.

Once the numbers are available, Somerset County school districts have until March 7 to submit budgets to the county superintendent.

In addition, Friday is the last day to file claims for FEMA for Hurricane Sandy damages.

Plus, kindergarten registration will be held at Bedwell Elementary School Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Meetings this week are:

  • The Bernardsville Mayor and Council will be holding a meeting monday at 7 p.m. at the municipal building on Mine Brook Road.
  • The Bernardsville Library will be holding its First Day of Yoga Basics at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
  • Bernards High School will be hosting a parents guidance program for grade 10 parents at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the school.
  • The Bedminster Township Committee will hold its fifth special budget meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the municipal building on Miller Lane.
  • The Bernardsville Middle School will be hosting its faculty basketball game at 3 p.m. Thursday at the school.
  • The fifth and sixth graders at Bernardsville Middle School will be performing their spring play at 7 p.m. Thursday.
  • The Bernardsville Planning Board will be holding a meeting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the municipal building on Miller Lane.
  • The Bedminster Township School will be holding a special snow-ball game for grades pre-kindergarten through fourth grade at the school at 7 p.m. Friday.
