Peapack-Gladstone Bank Announces New Employees
David Nunez has joined Peapack-Gladstone Bank as vice president, head of community banking, senior credit underwriter. Mr. Nunez will oversee the Bank’s new community banking underwriting and portfolio management group.
A resident of Long Valley, NJ, David brings with him over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, serving most recently as senior director, underwriter at Capital One with a focus on portfolio management. Previously, he also served as vice president, loan officer at First Hope Bank in Hackettstown, NJ, and at Fleet Bank with a concentration on loan review and asset based lending.
Mr. Nunez holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Montclair State University and is active in coaching youth basketball within his community.

During his career, Alex has served in a variety of sales and sales management capacities most recently as vice president direct sales at One Communications headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts. Previously, he served as president Northeast Region and vice president of strategic accounts at Sprint PCS located in Bedminster, NJ. With over 25 years of sales and operational experience, Alex is now part of the team responsible for strategically growing the Bank’s deposit account business.
Mr. Battey holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Biology from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard University. He presently serves as the President of the Schiff Natural Lands Trust which oversees the Schiff Nature Preserve in Morris County.
