Local Businessman Elected Board President to "From Houses to Homes"

James Bellis, Co-Owner, Tree-Tech, a full service tree care company in New Jersey has been elected Board President to the not-for-profit board, “From Houses to Homes” - an organization that builds homes and provides health and education to revitalize disadvantaged communities in Guatemala. Founded in 2004, “From Houses to Homes” works with the poorest of Guatemalan families to build new housing and rebuild existing homes - making them strong, safe, culturally appropriate, and affordable to maintain. These homes become the foundation of the building process for entire communities.

Mr. Bellis’ love for family and community has translated into a deep commitment to expand those building blocks of a healthy society around the world.

“I am humbled and honored to be selected to assist in leading this organization.  To date this organization has provided safe homes for more than 720 families. My hope is that we stay the course and expand our reach in providing homes to poor families in Guatemala.”  –James Bellis, Board President, “From House to Homes”.
