Somerset Hills Shopping Center Expansion to be Discussed
The Land Use Board will be meeting Thursday.
The Bedminster Township Land Use Board will be hearing an application for changes to the Somerset Hills Shopping Center at Thursday’s meeting.
The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the municipal building on Miller Lane.
The application before the board is for an expansion and renovation of the shopping center on Route 202/206 in Bedminster.
Land Use Board Chairman Lance Boxer has said the plan is for major facial renovations on the property, and the possibility of opening a fresh market.
Changes are already being to the center, with the A&P planning to close on Feb. 23.
In addition, Tuscany Bistro has closed its doors after 17 years in business.
A call to representatives with the Somerset Hills Shopping Center on the closed businesses was not returned.

Try to get Trader Joes! Perfect size and location!
Fresh Market is like another Kings, ho hum.

Trader Joe's would be perfect! A while ago this location was even listed as "coming soon" location on their web site, but then it was deleted....

Terrible location! As much as I would love to have a TJ on my block, that intersection cannot handle the volume.

I don't like that location either. It's quite congested already.
