Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle on Route 202/206

The person suffered only minor injuries, police said.

A pedestrian suffered minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Route 202/206 North in Pluckemin Tuesday evening, according to Bedminster Township Police Chief Pat Ussery.

Ussery said the victim was checked out at Somerset Medical Center, but only suffered minor injuries.

The person was struck around 6 p.m. Tuesday.

According to Ussery, there was no fault assigned in the incident because it was determined that the walker stepped out in front of the driver.
